Nick groaned as the younger boy ran after him, arm extended out toward him. It was another game of tag. It wore the kid out though, so Nick would play until he heard a small yawn escape from the boy's lips. It was only the second round, so they had a few more rounds to go before Ellis would get tired. Nick glanced behind his shoulder at the boy, not paying attention to the statue he was about to run into. Ellis grinned madly knowing he had Nick practically cornered.
"Heh, I told ya' I could catch ya', Nick."
Nick rolled his eyes when the boy reached out and tapped him on the chest and hollered 'TAG' in his thick southern accent. He gave him
"Do I have to Nick?" the hick couldn't keep the whine out of his voice as he held on tightly to the bucket and sponge that had been given to him only minutes ago. They had been betting in a game of poker last night and just when Ellis thought he had a chance to win the conman beat him down with a royal flush. Now he was stuck with the job of washing Nick's car, which usually wouldn't have been that big of a deal for Ellis since he loved cars and all, but Nick was ungodly protective of it and the last time he'd try to do something to it Nick nearly took his head off with a tire iron.
